Napoli centrale is a band which was born in the 60s from the ashes of showmen, a cult italian rhythm'n'blues band. The leader of the band is james senese who plays the flute and the sax and the music is jazz-rock oriented with electronic, neapolitan and afro-american elements. This album is a collection of their recordings between 1975 and 1978, 3 key years in the history of this band. Tracks written by senese & c. As well as the previously unreleased track "cammenanne" written in collaboration with pino daniele.
