Each album of the "JAZZ BRUT" series will offer the space for a recording session gathering musicians without any hierarchy and thus questioning the place of the soloist in Jazz. This experience of creative horizontality aims to generate a music that, even if it is part of the "Jazz field", does not produce a discourse governed by the cultural referents of a specialists' practice.

In this first volume (001), the echoes of Hip Hop melt into the spiritual scents of trance and Free Jazz, somewhere between the experiments of John Dwyer, the dazzling flashes of François Tusques, the productions of Jeff Gilson or the "fiddling" of a Madlib.
