Opus 18 for Chris Smither is what we expected from this great songwriter and singer. His ten new and revisited works continue his thoughtful romantic tunes and whimsical philosophy. Smither plays guitar and taps his feet while drumming and percussive ornamentation are by Billy Conway. On some pieces he has guests playing baritone saxophone, harmonica, and piano (Allen Toussaint).
